Ingredients for 10 servings
- 100g Onion
- 500 g Carrots
- 350 g Red lentils
- 1.5 l Water/Vegetable stock
- 1 kg Chopped canned tomatoes
- 25 g Ground coriander
- 10 g Ground ginger
- 10 g Ground cumin
- Salt
- Ground pepper
Technological process
- Fry the chopped onion in a little oil.
- Add the carrots and spices. Sauté for a while.
- Add water or broth and chopped tomatoes.
- Cook for 15 minutes.
- Add the rinsed red lentils and cook for another 7 minutes.
- Season with salt, lemon juice and pepper.
- Serve with rice.
