Agrocomplex 2024

In August Green dining room participated in one of the largest exhibitions in Slovakia – Agrocomplex. Over the course of four days, we had the opportunity to introduce plant-based diets to thousands of visitors who came to our stand with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a desire to discover something new. It was a big challenge, but also a huge opportunity, for our small but determined team.

Vegan Food Tasting: Flavors That Appealed to Everyone

One of the highlights of our participation was tasting delicious and original vegan dishes that we prepared on site. Our goal was to show that plant-based dishes can be not only nutritious, but also extremely tasty and attractive. Goulash with black beer, which attracted with its aroma, captivated everyone who tasted it. (Un)sardine spread, prepared from plant-based ingredients, was a big surprise for those who doubted that vegan dishes could have such an authentic taste. Our menu was completed a protein-rich salad, which was not only delicious but also full of nutrients, perfect for anyone looking for energy to get through the day.

Every plate we served was the result of careful preparation and an interest in engaging even those who didn't know much about plant-based diets. We were extremely pleased with the reactions of the visitors – the dishes were praised by everyone, from curious laymen to die-hard lovers of traditional Slovak cuisine. Our effort to bring something new and interesting was reflected in the empty plates – everything we prepared was eaten to the last crumb!

Culinary Corner: Plant-based Diet as the Star of the Program

We were able to prepare tastings of these dishes because we had the honor of being part of official Agrokomplex program. In the culinary corner, we demonstrated the preparation of these plant-based dishes, sharing our recipes, tricks and tips with the audience. We prepared each dish with an emphasis on simplicity, so that even complete beginners could try it at home. The audience could see the cooking process with their own eyes, ask questions and taste the result of our work.

A large part of the success of our cooking at Agrokomplex can be attributed to our partner companies. Ribeira and Rajo. Thanks to their support, we were able to prepare dishes that were not only delicious, but also high-quality and accessible to the general public. Working with reliable partners allows us to show that a plant-based diet is not only healthy and sustainable, but also full of great options for everyday cooking.

Lecture: Plant-based diet and health

For those who wanted to know more, we prepared a lecture on the topic plant-based diet and its positive health effects. We discussed how a plant-based diet can help prevent lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and obesity. The lecture provided not only useful facts, but also practical advice on how to include more plant-based foods in your regular diet without complications. The audience appreciated not only the professional content, but also our friendly and motivating approach.

Our mission continues

Participating in Agrokomplex was an exceptional experience for us and an important step on our journey to spread awareness about the benefits of a plant-based diet. Every smile, compliment and question from visitors confirmed to us that what we are doing makes sense. We believe that we have inspired many people to give a plant-based diet a chance – whether in their kitchens or in the dining halls they visit.
